Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what Rank Pulse collects, why, and how it's used. It covers your account, the brands you track, and the data generated while tracking them.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, and tenant/organization name.
  • Brand details you provide: brand name, website URL, industry, location, topic keywords, and any aliases, company facts, or public profile text you add.
  • Content we crawl from your own website (with your submission of the URL) to match against your tracked prompts.
  • Prompts you create or approve, and the responses real AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude) return when we query them on your behalf — including any citations those engines return.
  • If you connect Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or a CMS (WordPress/Shopify): the OAuth tokens needed to read that account's data, stored encrypted, and the ranking/analytics/content data those connections return.
  • Logo images you upload for your brand or agency.
  • Messages you send through the Contact form.

How we use it

To run the product: computing your visibility scores, generating reports, sending the account emails you'd expect (password resets, invites, weekly reports, alerts you've configured), and — only with your explicit approval — publishing a change to a connected CMS.

Prompt text is sent to the third-party AI engines you've configured API keys for, and to our own language model provider for analysis (sentiment, ranking position, recommendation status) of the responses. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Sharing & shareable reports

If you generate a shareable report link, anyone with that link can view the report it was generated for. You can revoke a share link at any time from the Reports page.

Data retention & deletion

Archiving a brand removes it from your active list; its historical data is retained so it can be restored or audited, rather than being irreversibly deleted on a single click. Contact us if you need a brand's data permanently deleted.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie to protect against cross-site request forgery. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
